About Me
Kia ora,
I am a 27 year old Teacher at Kelston Boys High School in Auckland. Having recently completed my Masters of Teaching in 2018, I took a job in the English Department at Kelston. Since then I have taken on the Head of Department role and am directing the school musical. Prior to my Masters, I worked in Marketing and Development at King's College and at the Pah Homestead, TSB Wallace Arts Centre. I attended the University of Auckland studying a conjoint degree in Law and Arts from 2010-2014 and spent my final year at University editing Craccum, the student magazine.
My other interests include musical theatre, which I direct and produce regularly along with writing and performing. In 2015 I started the Rebel Theatre charitable trust which aims at creating professional musical theatre for Auckland audiences. I also have a passion for Art History and Classics and was president and founder of the Art History Society, whilst at university. I am an avid hiker and have enjoyed many of New Zealand's great walks.
